About Me
How I WorkI am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), and adjunct professor at Friends University for their graduate Marriage and Family Therapy program. I use family systems theory in my practice to focus on how relationships, cultural context, and personal identity shape the challenges my clients face. I am drawn to therapeutic modalities that incorporate somatic work, mindfulness, solution-focused approaches, and humor.
I actively volunteer as a mental health provider for Gender Affirming Night at JayDoc Free Clinic at the University of Kansas Medical Center, supporting transgender and gender-diverse individuals in need of gender-affirming care. I hold a Bachelor’s in General Science from the University of Kansas and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University. My full-time private practice is located in Corporate Woods, Overland Park, KS.
